We understand the anxiety that going to the dentist can bring upon patients, however, at our office your comfort, convenience, and safety is our number one priority.  From the moment you walk into our office, our goal is to help you and your family.  You will feel instantly welcome and comfortable and our friendly team is always more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. 

Our office was originally built by Dr. John Ishizuka in 1958. Dr. Brown is only the 3rd Dentist to practice in this building in 54 years and proudly continues the tradition of providing dental care to our Monterey Peninsula residents. 

Our office is equipped with digital x-rays, which give the doctor and patient the ability to view dental structures many times larger than with the previous x-ray technology and with much less radiation, no waiting for developing films, thus speeding up the dental visit for the patient.

We have conventional intra-oral digital cameras to allow the patient to see what we are seeing, as well as facilitate communication with specialists and dental laboratories. These tools are great for evaluating and displaying before and after results.

We communicate electronically with insurance companies to speed up the process of giving accurate treatment plan estimates as well as speedy insurance reimbursement. Patients have the option to receive communication by email or text message for those who prefer this means of communication in order to provide the most convenience.

As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health.  We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”.  That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary.  We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease.  

Uncompromising Safety

Infection control in our office is also very important to us.  To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
